Proverbs 31:21 “She fears not the snow for her family, for all her household are doubly clothed in scarlet.” (Josh. 2:18-19, Heb. 9:19-22)
Lesson- She’s not afraid of harsh or cold weather or seasons, she is covered doubly. Physically she’s done the work and made clothes to cover her family but also spiritually she keeps her family covered in prayer, covered in the blood of Jesus so they have no need to fear whatever comes they are ready for because she has made the necessary preparations and put not only her hands to work but her mouth through prayer as well.
Tip for Men- For men looking for a spouse, first let me say if your prayer life is lacking please take the necessary time to strengthen that first but then also look for a woman who knows how to pray! Who can cover you in prayer and not just one who attends church. A kingdom marriage cannot be built on a weak foundation!
Tip for Women- Don’t forget the importance of prayer. You have an important role in covering your family so take it seriously because covering them spiritually is even more important than any other covering.
