"Christlike Qualities" Proverbs 31:22 *Show Notes*

Proverbs 31:22 “She makes for herself coverlets, cushions, and rugs of tapestry. Her clothing is of linen, pure and fine, and of purple (such as that of which the clothing of the priests and the hallowed cloths of the temple were made). [Isa. 61:10, 1 Tim. 2:9, Rev. 3:5, 19:8, 14]

Lesson- This is so much more than physical clothing, it kind of relates and goes back to the previous episode. We need to clothe ourselves in the righteousness of God. If we look at some of the reference verses we can see that to be true for example in Rev. 19:8, Isaiah 61:10. Also, in dream meaning, the clothing you wear becomes you and therefore gives deeper meaning to the dream and just in that same way we need to clothe ourselves in Christlike qualities so that they become part of us. It reminds me of Colossians 3:10-15 please go and read it but I will read verse 12 “Clothe yourselves therefore as God’s own chosen ones (his own picked representatives) who are purified and holy and well-beloved by God himself by putting on behavior marked by tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways and patience which is tireless and longsuffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper.”

Tip for Men- They say men are visual creatures but for the greater purposes of the kingdom, you must really learn to look inwardly. Look at what truly matters because the outside can be deceptive at times. Don’t just look at a woman’s outfit, body or looks but look at what she has truly clothed herself with. Is that what you want to cover and carry? Does it line up with who she portrays herself to be and with God’s ways?

Tip for Women- Adorn yourself with more than jewelry and accessories. Clothe yourself with what truly matters and is able to help you endure through whatever comes your way with a good attitude and outlook.
